When Visual Language Echoes

In July 2023, I released “GOODbye” a deeply personal music and visual project exploring identity, anonymity, and emotional silence through minimalist composition and symbolism.

Earlier this year, I came across a fashion editorial cover by BOYCOTT Magazine (April 2025) that echoed some strikingly similar visual elements, most notably the central motif of a black circular headpiece obscuring identity.

This is not a critique, but a reflection on how ideas travel, evolve, and sometimes unintentionally align across creative disciplines. It also reinforces the importance of authorship, recognition, and timing in an age of fast-moving visual culture.

So I’m sharing my original statement below to both celebrate the resonance “GOODbye” has had, and to reaffirm the power of owning your voice and vision.
