FULHAM EYE £40M STRIKER AND CHELSEA STARLET AS PART OF JANUARY TARGETS

Fulham are preparing for a potentially busy January transfer window as Marco Silva looks to strengthen key areas of his squad, with a striker, winger and central midfielder all under consideration.

Up front remains a clear priority. First-choice striker Raul Jimenez, now 34, is out of contract in the summer, while Rodrigo Muniz is working his way back from hamstring surgery. Fulham also have Jonah Kusi-Asare on loan from Bayern Munich, but that deal expires at the end of the season, and Silva clearly doesn’t fancy the 18-year-old.

N**E YOGA - EXPRESSION AND HEALTH EMBRACING

The Unfiltered Flow: Why N**e Yoga is Reclaiming the Wellness Narrative in 2026
For decades, the yoga industry was synonymous with high-end spandex and "Instagram-perfect" aesthetics. However, as we move through 2026, a counter-movement is reaching its peak. N**e yoga—once a niche practice tucked away in private retreats—has emerged as a mainstream pillar of the body-liberation movement.

This isn't just about "shedding layers"; it’s about shedding the psychological armor we wear every day. Here is a look at why 2026 is the year of the unfiltered practice.

BRENTFORD’S HABIT OF PUNISHING STRUGGLING SIDES UNDER ANDREWS

Brentford have a ruthless trait under Keith Andrews of dismantling struggling sides that are low on confidence. Bournemouth arrived at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday without a win in eight games, and the Bees needed just 50 minutes to effectively decide the contest, storming into a 3-0 lead as they repeatedly exploited the Cherries’ lacklustre defending.

QPR SUFFER MORE SET-PIECE WOES IN WEST BROM DEFEAT

West Bromwich Albion beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 at the Hawthorns in what was a missed opportunity for the Londoners to climb the Championship table.

All three goals came from set-pieces, George Campbell giving the hosts the lead before Ousmane Diakité turned into his own net to level the score before the break, but Nathaniel Phillips’ header won it for the hosts.

Despite scoring, the visitors failed to register a single shot on target over the 90 minutes.

MAN SOUGHT AFTER TWO YOUNG CHILDREN KICKED AT WHITE CITY STATION

Officers from the British Transport Police (BTP) have released an image of a man they would like to speak to after two young children were assaulted in west London.

At around 4pm on Thursday 11th December a woman was at White City Underground station with two young children when a man entered the station and kicked the children, causing them to fall over.

He then immediately walked away into the station and boarded an eastbound Central line train.

Neither of the children suffered any injuries but were understandably upset and the woman incredibly shaken.

Officers believe the man in the image could have information that may assist their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him, or who has information that could help police, should text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 472 of 11 December.

£4M MENTAL HEALTH ‘A&E’ OPENS AT WEST MID FOR CRISIS CARE

Local people suffering mental health emergencies will now receive specialist care instead of waiting in A&E, thanks to the opening of a new mental health crisis assessment service at West Middlesex Hospital run by West London NHS Trust.

Lakeside Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS) will act as an A&E front door for people needing urgent mental health treatment and will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The pioneering new service has received more than £4 million investment with the goal of early intervention when people are in a crisis, providing a therapeutic environment in a calmer setting than A&E.

DUNNE EQUALISER AT PORTSMOUTH KEEPS QPR IN PLAY-OFF HUNT

QPR came from behind to secure a point against Portsmouth thanks to Jimmy Dunne’s header in an archetypal game of two halves at Fratton Park.

Rangers missed an opportunity to climb into the top six of the Championship, but are well in the play-off hunt, sitting ninth in the table and just three points off third-placed Ipswich. Just six points separate third and eleventh, such is the chaos and congestion of the second-tier.

CHISWICK CULTURE GROUPS HIGHLIGHT ‘FESTIVE FAMILY WALKS’ FOR THE NEW YEAR

The organisers of the annual ‘Exploring Chiswick’ campaign, which highlights local arts and heritage trails, are encouraging families to follow the trails on their New Year walks. Five years after the campaign was launched during the Covid lockdown, this is the first time it has been aimed at families gathering over the festive period.

The online trails and maps highlight the artists and writers who have frequented Chiswick for 400 years, from John Donne, William Hogarth, Alexander Pope & WM Thackeray to Nobel Prize winners WB Yeats and Harold Pinter, and 20th century luminaries such as EM Forster, John Osborne, Dame Iris Murdoch, Nancy Mitford and Sir Peter Blake.
