This song is for anyone who’s been vilified simply by matching people’s energy and it’s one of my favourites 🖤

Something I noticed especially in my 20s is the number of friends we lose, when we no longer decide to be the initiator friend or the floater friend, or when we start setting boundaries. The moment you stop reaching out, a friendship becomes “outgrown”. The moment you communicate how you feel, you become the villain.

Blame it on my behaviour but you were the muse.

This is one of the few “happy” songs I’ve ever written, yet I wrote this at a pretty low point in my life. As much as I love a good break up song, we all need that delulu - over the top positivity in our loves sometimes and hope that things will get better. So wherever you are in life, please remember better days really are ahead for you🫶

The difficulties you face in the music industry as an independent artist is incredibly overwhelming, and on top of that the extra challenges you face as a woman in this industry is not easy. Last night it was an honour to host with , and the support shown for female Asian artists was incredible.
