Just a reminder that submissions will close on the 31st May. Everybody is welcome to join, we are especially excited to see entries from previously unpublished folk.

There will be a Q&A session this week for those who have incredibly difficult questions to ask, if you are interested in that pls leave us a DM.

Whilst we furiously prepare for the next book, submission updates and all that fun stuff, this.

I have been a supporter of many causes relating to mental health over the years. Having had a bad episode once upon a time, I am very aware of how easy it is to fall into these traps again.

This short does focus on men, but of course the problem extends far beyond that reach. Look after yourselves. Speak to that person. Dont allow yourself to fall into the f*cking trap.

Introducing to you the first in a few sketches to get your inspiration flowing for our upcoming project.

The new (as yet untitled) project will focus on the lived experiences from people of a UK-Filipino perspective. However this connection is gotten, we would love to hear from you - your opinions and ramblings. All feedback is absolutely welcome!

Hello all.

A little bit more on the project myself and .is.chichi have been preparing.

We all have stories about our experiences being Filipino. Whether mainland or differwnt land all together, each story is as unique and vibrant as the people that tell them.

We will be opening submissions specifically for the UK-Philippines element. I am born in the UK, as too is Chi and this is an opportunity to get your stories out there in the world and for us to start building the legacies the generation before us may nit have had the chance to do.

More concrete details will follow over the next few months, but for now your feedback and opinions matter.

You can message me or Chi your thoughts on the subject and whether this interests you at all.

Changed the logo back an earlier version.
No real reason other than I liked it better.
No real reason other than superstition.
No real reason other than projects almost brewed.
No real reason other than the website will be revised and up and running again soon.
No real reason other than life having its funny turns and the everyday of an editor is a severely traumatic and inconsistent one full of pitfalls and overwhelming wins and laughs and tears at almost not quite the same time but so close in between they may as well squish together into one mega experience called bleh.

Hi all, just a lil update cos we've been quiet for the past few months...

It has been insanely up & down for us over the last few months - a map of our anxieties would produce something akin to an earthquake reading I think but this is something we all have to weather at certain points in our lives.

Social media in general has been as erratic with some really low points that have contributed to my leaving it alone for a while, considering packing it up altogether many, many times.

But we're still here with a healthy booklist and with plans for future titles. Thank you to everybody who has supported - I was honestly nervous about reopening this IG account. I have a few messages to go through still and my sincere apologies for any delay.

Summertime has hit London in a good way, so if you are around town enjoy it while it lasts. If you are from a part of the world where sun is common, then maintain and do you lol. If none of the above apply, a new book or graphic novel is a cert to fix your mood!
