What an incredible experience we’ve had in Montréal this week - nothing quite prepares you for the jet lag, showcases, networking, chatting, lack of sleep and general insanity that is the Folk Alliance International.

But to see so many awesome artists, meet so many interesting people and learn so much from others in this crazy, brilliant music industry, has been a total treat.

With immense gratitude to and for all the great connections, we’ve had a ball.

📣 We’re thrilled to announce four exclusive gigs with Tony Christie this July.

🇺🇸 So: Is This the Way to Amarillo? No! Fifty four years after the release of his million-selling hit, Tony Christie takes a nostalgic journey through his family's Irish roots, revisiting the music of his grandparents who played in ceilidh bands and sang the songs of their homeland in County Mayo, Ireland.

🇮🇪 Once again joining forces with Ranagri, we’ll be winding our way through the music we listened to as children, the stories that crafted the music we create today, and some of the inspirations that have brought us all together.

🎶 Entering his 83rd year, this collaboration brings to light aspects of Tony Christie which many won't have ever expected: emotional and introspective.
Exciting new arrangements with haunting melodies and lush harmonies, we’re really looking forward to seeing you all in July and to sharing these beautiful traditional songs together.

What a great tour to finish our gigs together in 2024. New faces, old friends, 3500kms in Billie Bongo, intense cheese and bread 🥖with a few 🍻 Thanks so much to everybody who joined us, fed us, bought our CDs and have become part of the Ranagri family.

It’s been quite a year for us Ranagri-ers, and we aren’t short of announcements for 2025, with our first coming next Monday 15th.
