😴 CAUGHT ON CAMERA! Pastor & Congressman Benny Abante dozes off during VP Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial.

Presiding Officer Chiz Escudero noticed Abante sitting directly behind the witness and asked fellow congressmen to “kindly nudge” him, adding that he could rest somewhere else, “but at least not right behind the witness.” 😳

The prosecution even joked that Pastor Abante was “praying for the prosecution.” 😂 Abante later admitted he briefly fell asleep and said he had only gone to bed around 2 AM.

WATCH UNTIL THE END 👀 What do you think — understandable tiredness or inappropriate during an impeachment trial?

🇵🇭 JUSTICE — OR POLITICAL PERSECUTION?

An arrest warrant has been issued against Vice President Sara Duterte, and Filipinos have every right to ask questions.

Why does accountability appear to move so quickly in some cases, while the public is still waiting for clear accountability over the flood-control controversy involving billions of pesos in public funds?

Where are the consequences for politicians, contractors and officials who may be found responsible for questionable, substandard or even “ghost” flood-control projects?

This is not about saying anyone is above the law. Sara Duterte must answer the cases against her through the proper legal process — but the same standard of accountability should apply to everyone.

If evidence exists, investigate it. If probable cause exists, prosecute it. Whether someone belongs to the administration, the opposition, or a powerful political family should make no difference.

⚖️ Selective accountability creates suspicion. Equal accountability builds trust.

So the question remains: Is this simply the justice system doing its job, or are we witnessing political persecution while other powerful figures escape scrutiny?

The Filipino people deserve answers. 🇵🇭
