Morrisons has reported its 11th straight quarter of growth, with sales up 3.0% in Q3 to £4.0bn.

Online shopping was the star performer, with double-digit growth making Morrisons the fastest-growing UK grocer online. In stores, the chain has launched its biggest Fresh food reset in a decade, adding more than 400 new products, alongside 650 price cuts and expanded loyalty offers.

The supermarket has also cut debt by 43% since the CD&R takeover, putting it on stronger footing ahead of the key Christmas season.
