Today’s vinyl post is RAVE TAPES from the might Release in 2014 on Rock Action Records. 10 tracks including Heard About You Last Night and Remurdered. The eighth studio album was released on vinyl, MC, CD, high resolution digital download and as part of a limited edition box set. In the first week of release the album charted at number 10 in the UK Album Charts.

Today’s vinyl is the brilliant Studio and the seminal album West Coast. The duo self-released the record in November 2006 on their own record label Information and the vinyl version here re-released this year on .

The all-too-short-lived Swedish duo Studio were Dan Lissvik and Rasmus Hägg and this was their one and only album. It’s a masterpiece of psychedelic, afrobeat, gothic indie, dub and electronica and still sounds as relevant today. These guys should have been massive on the scene but it wasn’t be. It A real lost gem of the noughties.
