The music industry just got more accessible 🎶

The Prime Minister recently announced an £88 million investment in youth clubs, music lessons, art classes, and much more as part of the Labour government’s Plan For Change.

The move comes in direct response to the 70% decline in youth club investment that has occurred over the past ten years. This funding will be crucial in encouraging young people to reconnect with their community, and perhaps pick up a new passion along the way.

But this is “just the beginning”, according to Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy.

It’s been reported that some of Beyoncé’s unreleased music has been stolen during the Cowboy Carter tour.

Hard drives loaded with new tracks, setlists, and show plans were swiped from her team’s rental car during a stop in Atlanta. Sadly, it’s not the first time something like this has happened in the industry – Ariana Grande, David Guetta, and other artists have all had leaks surface ahead of releases ⚠️

Phones – should they be banned at gigs? 📱📸

According to Manchester’s Warehouse Project, the answer is yes… at least, some of the time.

They’ve recently launched a “no phones” policy at a select few of their club nights, encouraging people to be in the moment.

The Warehouse Project will instead be releasing a curated archive of professional shots and footage from the night, allowing attendees to re-share on social media or just save to their personal galleries.
