When I was 15 I saved up my Saturday job money to buy my first jacket. I lost a bit of my passion for fashion along the way while working in football. Individuality & creativity was actively discouraged & it was difficult to show off my style in huge quilted outdoor coats. I did have a lovely range of scarves though & that became my “thing”. It’s so nice for me to rediscover this side of myself. Life is a whole new runway for me & I’m loving it 😊

What a dress 💙

I wore this to an event I hosted this week & I felt amazing in it. It has a deep v at the front if you’re brave enough but also a hook & eye higher up for a little more modesty. Floor length black chiffon & sequins for the win 🤩

On this World Mental Health Day please remember that sometimes the people who seem the strongest are those who are suffering the most. If you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know that I’ve had some dark periods in my life. Those closest to me have no idea how bad it got. We’re always encouraged to “talk to someone” & of course I urge you to do that but when you’re struggling you don’t want to be a burden, or you feel ashamed. So I’m saying if someone you know isn’t talking, they’re isolating or they’ve gone quiet then reach out. Keep the communication going with the ones you care about. You never know how it could help shine a little light in some darkness. And always, be kind.
