Just looking back at some of our achievements at Nest over the years and remembering when we made a small bit of TV history…
When we started Nest one of the first EVER productions we took on was a brand-funded documentary with Nike!
Which seems weird now thinking about this considering how much our TV industry has changed since then and it’s now much more focused on brand storytelling.
I like to think we were pioneering in many ways with long-form branded.
And history was made that night by doing the FIRST EVER full ad-break takeover to promote our doc:
‘New Heights: London for C4/Nike.
Did anyone see it at the time?
Things have moved on so much since then and looking back, I think we would have done it so differently now….
But, it was still pretty cool at the time and to be trusted by our partners at Wieden and Kennedy and Nike to make a documentary was the dream.
We do like to think that at Nest, there’s not a lot we can’t do - but digital and branded is an area that we’ve delved into probably a lot more than others - especially recently.
We keen to hear from content creators who are making waves in this area - but who need support to create productions at scale!
