🚛 HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Swindon and Reading Areas 🚛
📍 Location: Swindon & surrounding areas
💰 Pay: £17 – £19 per hour
🕒 Shifts: 12 hours, 4 on / 4 off rolling rota
We’re looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team operating vacuum tankers for over pumping work. If you're reliable, safety-conscious, and ready for a consistent rota – we want to hear from you!
✅ What’s on offer:
• Competitive pay: £17–£19/hr
• Regular long shifts (12 hours)
• 4 on / 4 off rolling shift pattern – excellent work/life balance

🔧 The Role:
• Operating vacuum tankers
• Over pumping duties
• Working to strict health & safety standards
• Reporting any defects or issues promptly
🪪 Requirements:
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
• Previous experience with vacuum tankers is preferred (not essential – training can be provided)
• Physically fit and happy with hands-on work

We are recruiting HGV CLass 2 drivers in the Swindon and Reading areas for ongoing work. This will be working in the drainage sector driving a Class 2 vacuum tanker. We have day and night work available for the right candidates. Experience in tankering would be great but is not essential as training will be provided. We can take newly qualified drivers after passing a driving assessment.

I have never thought about how I come across being interviewed on camera before today and I guess I could do with some practice. Speaking clearly, maintaining eye contact with the camera and not sitting still in a room with motion sensor lights are a start.I am grateful to Mark Sharp and ActionCOACH UK for the opportunity talk about my journey so far, it’s been a great reminder of what I set out to achieve when launching Driver Provider UK, how much I can still learn, how much I’ve learnt, how far we’ve come and how we still have to go.
