🚨JUST IN: Chelsea have had a football boot specially adapted for Cole Palmer in order to help him return quickly as possible from the freak toe injury he suffered earlier this week. Palmer was on the brink of returning from a groin injury when he stubbed the small toe on his left foot on Wednesday night, causing a small fracture.

Chelsea are hoping his comeback will not be delayed too long and have taken action to help him return to training and playing as soon as possible. Palmer's left boot have been adapted for him to test on the training ground to help provide more cushioning to the area around his little toe.

It is hoped that the boot will allow Palmer to return to the grass next week and that he may be able to play with it.
