A Harvard study (2011) found that mindfulness practice increases grey matter in the hippocampus (linked to memory and learning) and reduces it in the amygdala, which governs stress responses. Other research from the University of Waterloo shows even a single 10-minute mindfulness session can improve focus and reduce mind-wandering.
💡Tips:
• 🟣 Take a 10-minute break when feeling overwhelmed—step away from screens, close your eyes, and focus on your breath.
• 🔵 Try box breathing: inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4.
• 🟣 Schedule mental breaks like appointments—consistency enhances benefits over time.

Short, intentional pauses improve clarity, mood, and emotional regulation, supporting both mental and physical well-being.
