Australian star Nicole Kidman highlighted a prominent moment in her life that she spent in Morocco with her children, during a lengthy interview she conducted with the American magazine Variety, which was accompanied by a photo session signed by photographer Nino Muñoz.
Kidman said: «I went to Morocco, near the Algerian border, with director Werner Herzog to take a camel trip», and the mother of four children added: «My children had the opportunity to live in Morocco and discover a wide side of the world, with its various flavors, smells, languages and ideas».
This experience dates back to 2014 during the filming of the movie «Queen of the Desert», which was filmed in various Moroccan regions including Ouarzazate, Merzouga, Erfoud, Marrakech and Ait Ben Haddou.
Kidman lived there for about two months with her children (Isabella and Junor from her marriage to Tom Cruise, and Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret from Keith Urban).
Kidman had previously described her fascination with living in tents in the middle of the Moroccan desert, saying: «When I arrived, I was a bit surprised, but in the end I found myself wandering around and bargaining in the markets. I am proud of that because we are global citizens, and it is very important to me to give my children this kind of experience».
