From Photography to Marketing: How Creativity Became a European Campaign Platform

What started with a camera has grown into something much bigger.

My early work in photography and videography taught me how to tell stories — to capture a place, a culture, or a moment in time. Today, those same creative roots have led me to run regional marketing campaigns across Spain, the UK, and Europe through ODS Projects

From Almuñécar in Andalucía to Castelldefels near Barcelona, we’ve helped towns and tourism boards promote their regions with striking visual campaigns — on London buses, Berlin streets, digital billboards in Stockholm, and even tram networks in Germany.

This November, I’ll be at the World Travel Market in London, where we’ll be running three advertising campaigns simultaneously — showcasing how creative storytelling and marketing strategy can bring destinations to life.

It’s been a fascinating journey from creative media to international marketing — and one that continues to grow.

🎬 One client in Alicante said,

Every creative journey evolves — mine began with still images.

As a photo retoucher, I’ve always loved refining visuals — balancing tones, colours, and light to tell a story. But one long assignment with a talented hairdresser in Valencia, Spain, changed everything.

While working on his portfolio photos, he shared an idea for a video that would capture the energy behind his craft. I mentioned that my Canon camera wasn’t just for photography — it could shoot professional video too.

That conversation turned into my first video production project in Spain — and the beginning of a new creative direction.

Since then, I’ve expanded my services to include:

Every creative journey has a story — mine started behind the camera.

Over time, my passion for photography and photo retouching naturally evolved into web design. Clients would see their polished product photos and ask:

“These look amazing — can you build a website to showcase them?”

That’s how I went from photographing sunglasses for Davezza

in Dolores (just 30 minutes south of Alicante) to designing their website.

And from photo retouching projects like GrandPad to helping refine their digital presence.

It’s a creative path that proves one thing: strong visuals and smart design are inseparable.

Just completed a set of photo edits for Brillier Watches an amazing USA based watchmaker. They were so pleased with my work, they asked me to create a couple of promotional videos as well. Chris did such amazing work! He was quick and efficient and easy to communicate with. I am beyond gracious for what he was able to do with my old photos that I thought were ruined because of tears and fading. The pictures were from a long time ago. He took my phone picture of an original picture and turned it into something that will be cherished forever. I cannot thank him enough!
