We’re delighted to welcome Lorraine Collins to the Kruger Cowne roster.

Lorraine is an integrative psychotherapist and cognitive behavioural therapist, who specialises in anxiety and burnout. Committed to sharing her expertise as accessibly as possible, particularly with those for whom conventional therapy may not be an option, she contributes to Good Housekeeping and ELLE and has also featured in Harper’s Bazaar, TIME, Stylist and Breathe.

Lorraine began her career at Saatchi & Saatchi before moving into the music industry, where she worked with artists including The Prodigy and James Brown. After experiencing workplace burnout herself, she retrained as a psychotherapist - completing her formative training in the NHS before establishing a private practice, where she has worked for for over a decade.

Today, her seminal work focuses on relational burnout: the dynamic between parents and their children, siblings and friends, with a particular focus on the mother-daughter relationship.

A strong advocate of the power of community, as the people who hold us when we can’t hold ourselves, she is also growing The Assembly, a wellbeing community for women.

We are thrilled to be working with such a brilliant and thoughtful voice.

A huge congratulations to our brilliant talent, Dr Rosa Vásquez Espinoza, on winning the Rubery Book Award for Non-Fiction for her remarkable book, The Spirit of the Rainforest.

A fantastic and well-deserved achievement, and one we’re very proud to celebrate. The Spirit of the Rainforest is as thought-provoking as it is beautifully written, and it’s wonderful to see this extraordinary work recognised in this way.

In the words of the Rubery Book Awards:

“Dr Espinoza has that wonderful knack of making the science understandable, and enthusing the reader at the same time. She sees it as a journey into our humanity, underpinned by the premise that Mother Earth should be our priority, and it’s hard to argue with that, or the eloquent celebration of the rainforest that she offers.”

Congratulations, Dr. Rosa Vásquez Espinoza 🌿🍃
