LT. COL. MICHAEL MALITH ANGUI TALKS TOUGH ON INSECURITY IN APUK COMMUNITY AND CALLS FOR DEVELOPMENT.

Great speech from Lt. Col. Michael Malith Angui. He was talking about insecurity in Apuk giir community and development services.

In his speech in Apuk, Michael raised a serious security concern.

He said that there are some youths of Adoor Malekdit, especially Malual Adoor, some youths who joined Nuer Mayom to attack their own people.

Lt. Col. Michael Malith Angui said it is the first time hearing that youth of Adoor Malekdit joined rebel groups. He said this is new and very dangerous for our community.

He asked, for those of Adoor Toch who are sharing connections to Nuer Mayom to attack Apuk Giir community, why are they doing this to their own blood?

And he said to the chief of Adoor Toch, you are supposed to see those who became rebels in Adoor Malekdit, especially in Adoor Toch. Chiefs must not keep quiet. Chiefs must control their youth.

Lt. Col. Michael Malith Angui said that we need unity as Apuk community because now some of the communities do not respect us again as Apuk Giir community.

He said, "We have seen those enemies. Since Apuk Giir community have been fighting for Nuer Mayom but those people will understand the history of Apuk community."

Apuk Giir community has a strong history. We are not weak. But we want peace.

He said, we the people of Apuk community, let us see those who kill innocent people at night, and then we will find out how to solve the problems.

He concluded that there will be no development services in Apuk Toch if there is no security. No NGO will come. No school will be built. No hospital will come if our own youth are causing insecurity.

The solution is unity of Apuk. Apuk Giir community and Apuk Lithdit must be one.

Peace First, Then Development.

Dear Fellow Citizens of Warrap State,

Date: 5th October 2027
By: Wen Pan Adaudit

I would like to inform the public that, in my view, the concerns and demands of our citizens have not yet been adequately addressed.

There are allegations that Dr Akol Paul Koordit has made decisions concerning the SPLM ticket that do not reflect the wishes of some citizens of Warrap State. There are also claims that Gen Atem Atem was denied the opportunity to receive the ticket after allegedly failing to meet a reported financial demand of US$850,000. These claims should be properly verified by the relevant authorities and those concerned.

We were pleased to see Dr Akol Paul Koordit return to the ruling party, and we hope that the leadership of the SPLM will continue to listen to the concerns and aspirations of the people of Warrap State.

As citizens, we should be able to express our views peacefully and respectfully, while allowing the people and the appropriate political processes to determine the leadership choices ahead.

May God bless Warrap State and the Republic of South Sudan.

Long live the SPLM.
Long live the Republic of South Sudan.

OPEN LETTER TO THE CARETAKER GOVERNOR OF WARRAP STATE.

RE: HUMBLE REQUEST TO APPOINT LT. COL. MICHAEL MALITH ANGUI AS ACTING COMMISSIONER OF GOGRIAL EAST COUNTY

Your Excellency, The Caretaker Governor of Warrap State,
Kuajok.

We, the concerned youth, elders, women and intellectuals of Gogrial East County, Apuk Community, write this open letter to your esteemed office with great respect and hope.

Your Excellency, we are writing to humbly recommend and request for the appointment of Lt. Col. Michael Malith Angui as the Acting Commissioner of Gogrial East County.

Gogrial East County is facing many challenges, especially insecurity, and we need a strong leader at this critical time. We believe Lt. Col. Michael Malith Angui is the right man for this job for the following reasons:

1. Experience in Leadership: Lt. Col. Michael Malith Angui is a tested leader. With his military background and leadership experience, he knows how to lead, how to organize, and how to command respect from the people.

2. Skills and Knowledge: He is an educated and knowledgeable man who understands both security and administration. He has the skills to manage the county and deliver services to our people.

3. Control of Insecurity in Apuk Community:The biggest problem in Apuk is insecurity, cattle raiding, and revenge killings. Lt. Col. Malith is a son of the soil who knows the area very well. He has the capacity and bravery to control insecurity and protect civilians and their property in Apuk Community.

Your Excellency, we trust in your wise leadership. If you appoint Lt. Col. Michael Malith Angui, Gogrial East County will get peace, unity, and development.

WHAT WE WANT IN THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF WARRAP STATE - DECEMBER 2026 ELECTION.

As youth of Warrap State at large, we have heard many people want to be elected as Governor in December 2026.

We welcome elections. Warrap needs real leadership.

But we will not vote blindly.

We need a person who has:

1. Experience in Leadership
Not someone who learns on our heads. We need a leader who has led before, who understands administration, who respects Paramount Chiefs, County Commissioners, and youth and women representatives.

2. Skills in Protection of Civilians and Property
This is number one. For years, our people are killed in:
- Gogrial East - Mayom border
- Gogrial East - Wau border
- Tonj East , Twic county,Tonj South and Tonj North borders-unity state.

We need a Governor who can protect our lives, our cattle, our farms. Not a Governor who stays in Kuajok town doing general cleaning while his people are being buried.

3. Skills in Development
We need roads from Kuajok to Apuk giir community, to Tonj, to Twic. We need schools, health centers, water. Not empty promises.

Therefore, we youth of Warrap State at large declare:

We will vote for the person who has these qualities. We will mobilize all youth in Gogrial West, Gogrial East, Twic, Tonj North, Tonj East, and Tonj South to vote for that leader.

But for the current Governor, Hon. Bol Wek Agoth — we have rejected him.

He has failed to protect civilians. He has failed to bring development. He has failed to unite Warrap.

In December 2026, Warrap needs a new chapter. Not Bol Wek Agoth.

South Sudanese Concern: Calls for Stronger Leadership in the Ministry of Interior

South Sudan continues to face serious challenges of insecurity, illegal business practices, and control of small businesses by foreigners. Citizens across Juba and other states are asking tough questions about who is protecting local traders and communities.

Hon. Gen. Aleu Ayieny Aleu, Minister of Interior, has been in office during this period. Many citizens and business owners feel that the Ministry has failed to provide adequate control and enforcement on the ground.

Key concerns raised by the public include:
1. Rising insecurity - Citizens report theft, harassment, and lack of police response in markets and residential areas.
2. Unregulated foreign business - Many South Sudanese complain that foreigners now dominate small businesses that are legally reserved for citizens, with little enforcement from relevant authorities.
3. Weak coordination - There are calls for better coordination between police, immigration, and local government to enforce business laws and protect citizens.

Because of these issues, community leaders and youth groups are calling on the Ministry of Interior to strengthen its leadership, enforcement, and monitoring.

“We are not against foreigners. But South Sudanese must also have space to do business and live safely in their own country,” one trader in Juba said.

The people are requesting urgent reforms in the Ministry of Interior to:
- Deploy more police to protect markets and civilians
- Enforce the law on business licensing and reserve small businesses for South Sudanese
- Hold accountable any officials who enable illegal activity

The Ministry of Interior has a constitutional duty to protect lives, property, and the rule of law. Citizens are asking Hon. Gen. Aleu Ayieny to take decisive action before public trust erodes further.
