Gaius Chibueze Announces Relocation of Businesses Over what he called IP0B Threats, Vows to Continue Push for ‘Make Ala Igbo Great Again’

Nigerian businessman and cryptocurrency investor, Gaius Chibueze, has announced plans to relocate his businesses from the Southeast to other parts of Nigeria following alleged threats to his life and companies.

In a statement, Chibueze alleged that the threats came from Chinasa Nworu and other members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IP0B). He linked the development to a speech he delivered at the World Igbo Congress Convention, where he urged Igbo people in the diaspora to stop funding what he described as “homegrown terrorists.”

Chibueze said the decision to move his investments out of the region was necessary for his safety and continuity of business. He also disclosed that he would remain in the United States for the time being.

“To make Ala Igbo great again, one has to first be alive and prosperous,” he said, stressing that the threats would not be taken lightly. According to him, groups behind such threats have a history of attacking fellow Igbo people who disagree with their positions.

The businessman reaffirmed his commitment to his long-standing campaign, tagged “Make Ala Igbo Great Again (MAIGA).”..
Gaius wrote: Due to several threats on my life and that of my companies by ChinasaNworu and other members of IP0B because of my widely shared video at the WORLD IGBO CONGRESS Convention where I called on Ndi Igbo in Diaspora to stop sending money to home grown terrorists.

I have decided to start diversifying my investment outside the Southeast.

I will immediately start working on relocating my businesses somewhere else and also I will not be living the USA soon.

I believe in to Make Ala Igbo Great Again one has to be alive and prosperous so I will not be taking threats from this home grown terrorists lightly because they are known for killing fellow Igbo people who disagree with them.
