If you look at the political landscape in I£ra £l, you’ll see that since 2022, far right extremists have totally hijacked the government.
At the Knes$£t (Isra£ li parlement), you need to have a minimum of 61 seats to control the government.
The seats are occupied by parties that are elected directly by the Isra£ l! population.
Each party submit a list of people to sit at the Kne$$£t with the number of seats attributed proportionally to the number of votes.
Right now the main parties are:
The L!kud: 33 seats, led by Netany au. It promotes nationalistic policies with strong opposition to a pale$ti n!an state. First came to power with Menach£m Begin, leader of the !rgun who was behind the king Dav !d hotel terror!$t attack and who had ties to Italian fasc!sm through his mentor Ze’ev Jabotinsky. Shas: 11 seats, ultra religious party
Religious zionist party: 6 seats led by Smotr! ch the current finance minister who said that there’s no such thing as Palestinians many times before and constantly talks about flattening Gaza, expelling pal£stinians or killing them if they refuse to leave.
Otzma yehudit: 7 seats led by Ben Gv!r, national security minister, who is a convicted terrorist, initiated the death penalty for Palest! Nian$ and who is currently building the infrastructure to execute them.
United torah Judaism: 7 seats, ultra religious group. Want military exemption from orthodox J£w$
64 seats already.
This is the coalition of bib! and this is the most far right government Isra has ever seen. When you look at what these people say, they make any far right political figure in the world look like leftists.
