Got enough drums? No you don’t.
Drum Study came about after asking one of our resident drum lords, , to build a pack where he started with a straight loop and then took that expression further, in different directions. Sonically, we were going for a tighter, contemporary loft-apartment sound. Something a little more contained vs that more dusty/‘warm’ thing we love so much.
Add to that a deeper one-shot sampling of the kit, and you’ve got a batch of loops that will lend themselves to pretty much everything, and samples of the kit you can throw into Ableton etc to get your own rhythms going.
