The driver was disqualified, having already 22points on their licence. Vehicle(s) recovered and a court date in the post for multiple offences 🧑‍⚖️

RPU recently dealt with the driver of this vehicle for using a fraudulent insurance policy. Imagine our surprise when we stumbled across them again on Allerton Road, Bradford - And guess what? The latest policy was just as legitimate as the previous one. In other words, equally worthless. Vehicle seized and the investigation into both offences continues 🧑‍⚖️

Bradford - Operation Steerside officers spotted that this BMW was not displaying a front registration plate 👀

Then (bigger sigh) officers noticed the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
Then (even bigger sigh) officers discovered the vehicle had been without a valid vehicle excise licence since December 2025.

Claims that the vehicle was being used in connection with the motor trade carried no weight at all, given that no trade plates were displayed — and so the vehicle was seized on behalf of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency.

The driver was reported for the road traffic offences 👨‍⚖️

This Vauxhall Astra was stopped on the A46 Southbound near Kenilworth and Leek Wootton.

The driver was constantly driving in the outside lane despite the inside lanes being clear of traffic.

After stopping the vehicle RPU discovered the driver only held a Provisional Licence 🪪 and was driving without L Plates or Supervision. The driver had No Insurance cover for his journey.

The driver was reported 👨‍⚖️ for the offences and the vehicle was seized.
