Lander PR: Has to be one of the most respected names in the UK Music industry a company with a great pedigree and a host of satisfied customers. With a team of young and hungry media execs, the company excels on delivering exposure for independent artists making their way up the ladder as well as established names. The Company was initially created by Liverpool session musician Judd Lander who was an intricate part of the late Mersey scene. His reputation as Session muso was synonymous with the heyday of music, working with Apple Records in-house bands such as Badfinger & Billy Preston. Through his media contacts Judd has worked with the Who’s Who in the music industry from John Lennon on his “Rock ‘n’ Roll Album the The Ramones, Debbie Harry, ABBA, Michael Jackson, The Jacksons, Boston, REO Speed wagon, Cheap Trick, Meat Loaf to Le Anne Rimes, Britney Spears, Lionel Richie to the operas Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli and Poet John Cooper Clarke, Lander is also known for his famous harmonica contribution on Culture Club’s “Karma Chameleon” and “Church of the Poison Mind” tracks, joining Paul McCartney on stage at The Odeon Hammersmith for a charity concert and adding a little harmonica line on Paul’s ‘Flowers in the Dirt’ Album. US giants Geffen Records hired him as their UK promo man delivering a host of hits including Don Henley’s Boys of Summer! He also teamed up with Pete Tong at London Records to deliver Salt & Pepper, Run DMC, The Communards, Fine Young Cannibals and Bananarama hits and delivering whilst also delivering a lead line on The Spice Girls on their single “Say you’ll be there”. Landers onscreen credits included his contribution on the biggest event in the UK music calendar, The BRIT AWARDS a show he worked on for 21 years.
Over the past 10 years and with his indisputable wealth of media contacts and a young and hungry team of PR guys, Lander has already helped a host of UK and international artists obtain major media visibility via Online Radio and TV coverage.
Lander has performed on well over 2000 sessions; has an entry in “Who’s Who In The Music Industry” and has received one of the highest musical accolades by receiving the Gold Award from BASCA ‘The British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors for his helping bands. The Lander office walls don an array of Gold and Platinum discs and awards, serving as a testament to Lander Companies contribution to artists they have worked with …… Suffice it to say somewhere in the world you will no doubt hear his dulcet harmonica tones blasting out of the radio or TV or see one of the acts Lander PR has successfully promoted.
