As a social media manager, I definitely have panics about how often I spend on my devices🤣

But what I have learned is there's a huge difference in being on social media for work and scrolling the explore page because you're bored.

I've mentored a few aspiring marketers in my time and always say the same thing: intention creates impact.

Yes, I have previously spent hours of my working weeks scrolling online. But now, not so much. Because what came from the aimless scrolling has literally saved my life🥲

My secret is training your brain to run a "formula" through the content you consume. I've fed my brain knowledge of what creates that scroll-stopping hook, and why the same posts with different captions have different engagement rates. I've trained it to digest that info and turn it into research that's actionable for me and my clients.

So now my research is less lengthy, yet somehow more thorough!

The first 3 months of 2026 have been… interesting, to say the least! 😭

And whilst I probably should have tackled some of these things last year, I have found these transformational months very grounding!

What I’ve been up to 👇🏽
1️⃣ Recovering from a very busy 2025
2️⃣ Re-strategising my business socials
3️⃣ Learning (even more) new skills
4️⃣ Reaching some milestones over on some accounts I’m managing 😇
5️⃣ Dipping my toes into more complex marketing campaigns, leading with end-to-end ownership

Not to be cringe, but 2026 kinda looks like my year! 👀
