As we move into the 5th South African Edition Compilation next year here are a few stand out previously release on Aluku Records before the dedicated SA edition which many say are very influential SA electronic music sounds along with artist that a very current with today’s sound especially Afro House, 3 Step and Deep House vibes .
Aluku Records Various Compilation Vol.2 (2015/2016)
This was premature crossover from the older SA house/tech vibe into the newer wave before it was commercially sounding these days with artist such as who made his debut on the label with “Jupiter” presenting a newer Durban wave of SA Afro Tech music along with ( ) deeper house music 1083 style vibe , broken beat remix for “You and I” and not forgetting with his Afro deeper tech cut vibes who are all still currently known today or influential in today’s SA’s scene .
Aluku Records Various Compilation Vol.5 (2017/2018)
This compilation has a heavy amount of very well known influential figures today and still rising such as with his “Kokula” remix that went dance music anthem viral in Portugal and Angola back in 2018 keeping a more rooted Afro house/tech sound not forgetting .ofc and more notable doing wonders to the Afro House scene along with a few artist outside of South Africa .kenya who are known strongly into days market.
2026 welcomes back the Aluku Records SA Compilation series after 2 years in the making .
