Im workin on a 91 obs a buddy bought, already has a 5.3 ls sittin in it and a manual trans. We just put a holley terminator x on the engine and got it all hooked up, my question is the previous owner cut all the passenger side firewall wires, and all the wires off the power junction just above it. Can anyone tell me what wires I need to rerun to get cab power back? Purple wire is still connected to starter also. Driver side still has most the firewall wiring, its just laying there, but no under hood fuse block, if obs even had them idk lol

Just put a new fuel pump on my 95 V6 and for you all out there that’s about to change your fuel pump. Please do not take your bed off or cut a hole in your bed. It’s so much easier to just drop the tank.

Had to take drastic measures to replace the fuel filter.
The lines are so rusted into this filter, I split the case on the filter it self trying to get it off and then it rounded the one nut on the line…. After going over my options….. and on a limited budget lol. I will properly Fix it with flares and union joints to get the stock filter back on when I replace the tank. It’s super rusted inside and this was just a temp fix. TBI doesn’t have crazy high fuel pressure, I think it’s 7-11psi and that is actual rubber fuel hose. (Yes that is the original fuel filter 🫠😂

So, I am only curious and just looking for conversations and people's thoughts. Simply because I don't know. I recently heard about LT4 HOT CAMS. (YouTube rabbit hole) Is it as simple as swapping the cam? Or do you have to swap lifters push rods, valve springs and the cam. What are the pros and cons. Picture is of my engine when I did the head gaskets about 2 years ago. 1996 Silverado C1500 5.7L with 205ish miles. Again,this is purely conversation and for my general knowledge!

Probably a stupid question but here it goes I was trying to do a rear diff service on my 95 k2500 HD 8 lug and it’s a semi floating rear end and I can’t seem to find it on any parts store. I can’t find 10 bolt and 14 bolts but zero 13 bolt gaskets. TIA

I installed a new A/C system however the clutch will not ingage when filling the Freon and jumping the low pressure sensor plug, so I have this extra connector plug which was not plugged into the old factory compressor. Today I checked the a/c relay and it seems to be working so I stuck a paper clip in this extra connector plug and the clutch is now engaging when cycling the a/c switch, so where should it plug into? I know I can’t run the system this way. Thanks

Having fuel pressure issues or maybe regulator is bad but I can’t keep the truck running unless I give it throttle. The gauge reads ab 3psi while fuel pump is priming and ab the same while running. Idk why the fuel pressure is so low I have a new pump in tank. The regulator is a return adjustable one as well.
