Confidence is not about being the loudest person in the room. It is about being clear, composed and intentional in how you communicate.

At yesterday’s Women At The Table with at , we explored the art of public speaking and what it really takes to hold your confidence when the room is listening.

For women leading businesses, pitching ideas, managing teams or stepping into greater visibility, how you communicate can be just as powerful as what you know.

A few reminders to take with you:

▪️Know your message. Be clear on what you want people to remember.

▪️Own your presence. Slow down, breathe and give your words space.

▪️Do not rush to fill the silence. A pause can communicate confidence, authority and conviction.

▪️Speak from experience. You do not need to have all the answers to have something valuable to contribute.

And perhaps most importantly, confidence is built through practice. The more you give yourself permission to be seen, heard and heard again, the more naturally your authority begins to show.
