Yesterday, I became a British citizen 🇬🇧✨
I moved to the UK in my early 20s — alone, full of hope, and with no one to pave the way for me. No shortcuts, no sponsors — just my perseverance, faith, and hard work.
As the first OFW in my family in the UK, I became a breadwinner and carried the responsibility of supporting my loved ones back home. It wasn’t easy, but every sacrifice was worth it.
Now, nearly 7 years later, this moment means everything.
As a proud Filipina 🇵🇭, I carry my roots with me always. This is not just my victory — it’s for every immigrant who dared to dream, to struggle, and to rise.
