Lunchtime Friday.

If you go watch the video for 's vid for Time of My Life, you'll see exactly where I took these photos from.

Everytime I have lunch or walk along the seafront the beautifully simple but poignant video comes to mind. Some decent coffee shops and lunch spots along there too.

The eyes tell it all. I'm wrecked. I don't normally post selfies but today is different.

In September 2023, I went to a football match and fell in love with the team. As a lifelong Liverpool fan this left me conflicted. They even played each other in the FA Cup last season.

Today, London City travelled to Birmingham, LCL on 41 points, Birmingham on 39. 4 goals and 100 minutes of an emotional roller coaster later, London City Lionesses won promotion to the WSL, a feat we never thought could happen when we face relegation last season.

I come home after a seriously long day with train delays and signal failures, a complete squad signed shirt (World Cup winner completed the collection), happy to have spent it surrounded by new friends.

in the WSL. Mind blown.

There's still time to catch up with last Saturday's episode of The London Ear. Two fantastic guests in the programme. London Irish Historian, Breda Corish, dropped by to chat about her study and upcoming talks.

And the very lovely Brendan Murphy, from The 4 of Us, .us, came to chat about the band's album 'Crescent Nights' and their UK shows. Tickets are available from and I would highly recommend checking out the album. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and I think you would too.
