This Pride Month, we're shining a light on ‘Who's There?’ - a powerful film from Micro Rainbow that explores the life-changing impact of moving into a Micro Rainbow safe house for LGBTQI people seeking asylum.

‘Who’s there?’ highlights how safety, community and belonging can help people rebuild their lives after fleeing persecution.

We're proud to celebrate Micro Rainbow, who were also a finalist in this year's Charity Film Awards. ✨

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

This Charity Film Spotlight features two brothers, one shell and a subsequent childhood stolen in seconds.

Save the Children's film puts faces to a crisis that's affecting millions of children in Sudan, where explosive weapons are responsible for the majority of child casualties. The laws meant to protect them are being ignored.

These stories deserve to be heard. 🎬

And here it is… the Smiley Charity Film Awards 2026 trophy 🏆

This year’s award has been created in collaboration with GOMI
- the Brighton-based sustainable design studio transforming waste materials into beautifully crafted objects.

Made from recycled materials and designed to be as meaningful as the films it honours, each trophy is completely unique.

We can’t wait to send these out to this year’s winners. ✨

Drum roll please...introducing our top pick from the Judges!

This year's Grand Prix Film of The Year and the winner of £10,000 is StreetDoctors with their film 'The Fatal Question'.

An award-winning national charity, StreetDoctors trains over 17,000 young people affected by violence each year in life-saving emergency first aid - powered by a network of 250 healthcare volunteers.

Built on the belief that knowledge is power, they’re equipping young people with the skills to step in, save lives, and be part of the solution.

A powerful film with real-world impact. Huge congratulations on a well-deserved win.
