Since August 2022 I have been collecting and sharing at least 50 calls for freelance story pitches every week, without fail >> whatedswant.substack.com. There was one bulletin that listed only 20 calls - a Christmas/NYE week. Every week before and since there have been 50, and sometimes up to 120, calls for pitches shared, as well as the occasional interview with an editor or writer.

Sure there are a lot of freelance writers too. Competition is stiff. Rejection (or agonising silence) is standard. But there is work out there. If you need help finding it, or pitching for it, contact me.
