Callie in Paris 🇫🇷

We took the opportunity to visit Paris with Callie for a couple of days- en route our re-location from London to San Francisco. Just me and Callie!

I’ve been meaning to do this trip for ages, and stopping off in some of our favourite cities has made this long journey much more fun 🙏🏻

Doesn’t Callie look like she belongs in this city?

We stayed in Paris 16e, and it was hot! We made the most of the cooler mornings and evenings to explore- and took shelter in a shady terrace at Le Bristol Paris for a long lunch during the hottest part of the day.

I’ll be sharing more on our travel from London with Le Pet Express, our stay at Hôtel Noucha and our 48-hour dog friendly itinerary in Paris, but for now- here’s a few of my favourite photos from the weekend 🥐

Waking up at The Newman 🍊

Can’t quite believe it’s already our last weekend in London! Tim has already left for California. Callie and I are making the most of our last weekend in London with a stay in Fitzrovia with my best friend Serena- soaking in the sunny atmosphere with long walks and ice cream and time to chat properly over a leisurely breakfast, and some people watching.

This area of London has particularly fond memories for me of being a student at LSE and UCL. 10-minutes walk from Soho, but with a character of its own and all a bit slower pace: small mews streets and gardens tucked away behind independent shops and an excellent restaurant scene.

The interiors at the Newman are an art deco masterpiece - rich wood tones, marble and burnt orange (perfect Callie colour!). And we all agreed it was one of the comfiest beds we’ve ever experienced.

Next stop: Paris!

- and her wildly unrealistic property expectations 🤭😂

Anyone else’s dog like to drag them towards the fanciest houses? Sometimes she just parks her butt on some steps on a walk like ‘we have arrived’. 👑
