لمَاذا يختار الميت "الصدقة" لو رجع لِلدُنيا كما قال تعالى:
﴿رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ﴾.
ولمَ يقُل: لأعتمَر .. أو لأصلي .. أو لأصَوم.
قَال أهلُ العِلم: ما ذكر الميَت الصدقة إلا لعظَيم ما رأى مِن أثرها بعَد موتِه
فأكثِروا من الصدقة فإن المَؤمن يوم القيامة فِ ظل صدقَته.

Why does the deceased choose "charity" if he were to return to the world as Allah, may He be exalted, said: "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous." (Quran 63:10) and he did not say: I will perform Umrah, or pray, or fast?
The scholars say that the deceased mentioned charity only because of its great impact that he saw after his death. So, increase in giving charity, for the believer on the Day of Resurrection will be in the shade of his charity.
