In what has been a fantastic year of film production by young film students, we want to recognise all the talent, creativity, hard work and commitment that goes into making an original and unique short film.

Young filmmakers are already creating amazing stories, learning camera work, and discovering the magic of movie-making - all while having fun in a safe, creative environment after school hours.

Lights, camera, climate action! We Are the World is Sparks Film School’s latest foray into filmmaking, set to take place this Autumn Term.
Young filmmakers aged between 5-18 have the chance to become action heroes, documentary detectives, and environmental champions all in one incredible term of filmmaking classes.
Young filmmakers unite to create powerful stories that inspire global change. One frame, one voice, one planet.
Students taking part through the autumn term will learn how to build compelling stories around environmental topics, whether through dramatic fiction or factual documentary approaches. We Are the World is an adventure-based exploration of real-world issues through the excitement of film production.

Our young filmmakers in Greece are in full swing at Sparks Film School Athens are creating their brand new film productions this summer.

Company Director Dan met with Konstantinos, international franchisee for Sparks Film School Athens to meet with his team and to see the workshops in action.

It was a delight to see such passionate young filmmakers working hard to tell their stories. And great to see and hear the Sparks workshop formula being delivered in Greece!

Franchisee Konstantinos has done a great job founding his film school and we’re excited to see what’s next for him!
