Damien Roussel’s path as The Mekanism traces a rare blend of discipline, restlessness, and human perspective.

The Mekanism got his first taste of Paris’s flourishing house scene in the early 2000s, but it was his unexpected detour to Asia that left the real mark. “Back when I was living in China, on this island called Hainan, I actually opened a nightclub there,” he recalls. “It was a crazy experience – but what really hit me was seeing how tough life was for a lot of the people I worked with. Some of them were living in real poverty, and that made me realise how lucky I was. It pushed me to live my passion to the fullest, to enjoy every moment, and to never take this life for granted.”

Italian hard techno DJ and producer MAIKE DEPAS (Michelangelo De Pasquale) is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting talents coming out of Italy. Drawing from a decade of experience and a sound that merges 90s rave, hard techno, and psy-trance, Depas has redefined his artistic vision in 2024, earning recognition from DJ Mag Italia, Mixmag Germany, and FAZE as a rising star in the global scene.

A real talent, classically trained as a musician, studying composition and piano at the Milan Conservatory, Depas blends technical precision with raw, boundary-pushing energy. His recent audio-visual relaunch has brought his dystopian aesthetic to life, highlighted by a live set at Berlin’s Teufelsberg, shooting with cyberpunk designer Demobaza, and collaborating with the likes of Amstra, Mattia Trani, and Matasism. In the past year, Depas has released a series of EPs under Mattia Trani’s Pushmaster Discs, including ‘Tokyo Nights’ and the most recent ‘Circle of Life’, which dropped Oct. 11. These innovations culminate in his forthcoming EP ‘Sexy Devil Horse’, releasing Dec. 12 on his own label, The Innovation Studio Records.

His 10-track collection showcases collaborations with iconic artists like Luca Agnelli, OGUZ, and Michael Katana, as well as rising stars CHRS and Gianni Di Bernardo. With the momentum of 2024 under his wings, ‘Sexy Devil Horse’ marks a defining moment in Depas’ career and solidifies his place among the new generation of hard techno visionaries.

Garnering initial recognition as one half of the legendary duo, Audiofly, Anthony has continued to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories throughout his career. As the founder of Flying Circus, Maison D'Etre, Sacbe & Supernature, Anthony has created platforms that showcase his unique blend of authentic, immersive house music. His sound is characterized by subtle vocals, rhythmic surprises, and experimental nuances.

Anthony's musical journey continues to take him to renowned events and Destinations around the globe. From Black Coffee's Clubroom to Day Zero in Mexico. From Womb in Tokyo to the beaches of Bali,Tulum and the desert of Burning Man.
With his solo career in full swing, Anthony continues to captivate audiences with his prolific DJ performances worldwide.

This year, he released the "The Love You Give" EP on the prestigious underground label Get Physical. He recently relaunched the vinyl and digital label Maison D'etre, starting with his own "Bad Timing" EP.

Beyond his dancefloor pursuits, Anthony has embarked on an immersive audio/visual endeavor with his new side project, "The Darker the Night." This project explores the more subtle states of consciousness, serving as a non-commercial tool for investigating the future of the scene.
