Hello everyone out there - family, friends and colleagues. Yes, I am on the scrounge again for donations - this time for The Royal Marsden Cancer hospital. This year's challenge - on May 2 - is another marathon walk (26 miles) in one day, this time from Brighton to Eastbourne via the gruelling Seven Sisters and Firle Beacon. There are few of us who have not been affected by cancer one way or the other and The Royal Marsden is leading the field in research, diagnosis, treatment and care. I'm doing it for all those I have known, loved and lost or celebrated with for beating this terrible disease. However, this year it's also part of the wider GTR industry initiative - the joint brainchild of The Moodie Davitt Report's Sinead Moodie and Martin as a global effort to raise awareness of cancer and support charities around the world. Sinead - a young mum of two- has been diagnosed with NUT Carcinoma Lung Cancer, an ultra-rare, very aggressive variant of the disease. You can read more about her story in the link below.
