To coincide with their performance at this weekend’s Desertfest, we decided to press up a limited amount of copies of the debut, double album from Capricorns. Ruder Forms Survive was originally released in 2005 but, for various reasons, never saw a vinyl release until now. Get your copies while you can: we have some black copies in the shop (last batch of clear vinyl diehard copies available exclusively at the RA webstore) and the band will be selling copies at The Electric Ballroom later today.

***RELEASE DAY***

The Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell's fifth studio album is released today. THE TROUBLE WITH THE SHOVELL is available on all streaming platforms, including Bandcamp. Vinyl copies were delivered yesterday, so will start shipping today and continue next week. Also released to today is DEATH FROM MALTA by the mysterious early 70s band Evil Grave.

The UK’s favourite garage/pop/psych band: The Crystal Teardrop, return with a brand new single. It’s Too Late/I’m Rowed Out is released via Popclaw/Rise Above Records on Friday 10 April to coincide with the band’s upcoming tour dates supporting Love with Johnny Echols (main support for UK shows) and The Pandoras in April and May.

It’s Too Late is a new composition, reflecting The Crystal Teardrop’s garage rock roots, whilst ‘I’m Rowed Out’ is a cover of UK Freakbeat classic, originally recorded by The Eyes in 1965.

Just when you thought you had heard it all.... Evil Grave were an exceptionally unique underground rock band from Malta that shook the islands with uncompromising attitude and dark imagery.

Heavily influenced by Black Sabbath and early progressive rock with a traditional Maltese twist, Death From Malta, gathers together all known existing material from the band.
Featuring 15-minute track: Machinery.

The band were discovered by Lee Dorrian when he was on vacation in Malta several years ago, after asking around about underground bands that may have existed on the islands during the late 60s/early 70s.
