Domenico Trotta is a highly experienced sound engineer, tour manager, and production manager with over 20 years of expertise in the live sound and events industry. Based in London, he has managed and advanced numerous national and international tours, overseeing logistics, budgeting, personnel hiring, technical requirements, and scheduling. Domenico is proficient with both digital and analogue con

soles, and he has hands-on experience with various speaker systems, including Meyer, L-Acoustics, and D&B. Domenico’s skills extend to backline technical work, DJ equipment, and radio mic systems, alongside expertise in software such as Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, and Smaart. He is also a certified operator for Barco, Analog Way, and Dante systems. His work history spans a wide range of roles from sound engineer and monitor engineer to production manager, across diverse events such as the Paris 2024 Olympics, Andrea Bocelli concerts, and various corporate and music festivals. In addition to his technical prowess, Domenico is known for his problem-solving abilities, professional attitude, and capacity to perform under high-pressure situations. Fluent in English and Italian, he also has a good understanding of Spanish and Portuguese. He holds a full driving license, has no issues with alcohol or drugs, and owns professional audio equipment, making him highly versatile and reliable in the field.

I’ve always believed that hard work pays off. Since losing my dad in 2004, my goal has been to keep working in the music industry, learn as much as I can, and be a valuable part of any team.

There are moments when I’m on stage with incredible people and artists, and I still can’t believe I get to work with them.

I’ve been lucky to have a few people believe in me, and one of them is — not only a mentor for the past 11 years, but also a great friend.

Grateful every day to do what I love, with amazing people.

🎛️ Behind the Mix: Multi-Band Setup 🎶
Here’s a glimpse of my desk DM7 during an incredible show with a 20-piece band! 🎤 In this setup, I was focused on creating the perfect Singer Mix for a lineup that included:

🎻 Strings: Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello
🎺 Brass/Woodwinds: Trumpet 1, Trumpet 2, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Trombone
🎸 Rhythm Section: Bass Guitar, Drums (+SPD), Guitar x 2, Keyboards x 2, Percussion
🎤 Vocals: 4 powerhouse singers

On another day, I mixed another amazing band featuring sax, percussion, DJ, violin, and vocalist – such a different vibe, but just as fun to work on! In the second picture, you can see me working on the in-ear mixes, ensuring everything sounds just right for the performers. 🎧
