We had the opportunity to touch base with yet another Phenomenal Women In Gaming, who imparts on her knowledge and wisdom where she goes , Ms. Therese Schroeder the Training and Development Specialist for the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation.

Ms. Therese Schroeder has an abundance of experience within the hospitality, gambling, and training industry. Having completed her studies as a high school teacher, she moved over to the hospitality industry and completed a 3-year Hotel Management Diploma. Her experience includes training employees and management in hotels of South Africa, being a Principal and Academic Director for a group of leading SA hotel schools, lecturing at various Tertiary Colleges, writing management training resources and co-authoring books for secondary school learners and their teachers. Her range includes all the training qualifications for the gambling industry. Therese is a member of various professional bodies.

This Phenomenal Women In Gaming is highly motivated and a driven Quality Manager with 22 years of gaming experience. Mrs. Maaske's professional qualifications comprise of Business Administration, ISO/IEC 17025 & 17020 Laboratory systems, Internal Auditing, and Six Sigma-YB. She has received an honour award in 2009 from the Department Trade and Industry as a finalist for the category Quality Champion award. She started out with her gaming career at the S.A.B.S Gaming lab, then transitioned on to GLI Africa for 8 years. Moved to her present company BMM Testlabs, of which she has 12 years of service, and experience in the African & European Quality Management space.
