So, I have vertigo at the moment. There is an issue with my middle ear and it is causing bouts of severe dizziness. As you know, often with anxiety, we suffer with 'out of body' feelings, and can feel dizzy.
So this vertigo is really testing my anxiety!
BUT!! I know that I have the tools and resources within me to help me through this. I know that it is the way that I think about the vertigo, or what might happen when I am out, that matters.
I am treating the vertigo like I treat my anxiety and panic - I picture the best-case scenario, I talk to myself positively, and I say 'so what@ with a shrug of my shoulders.
Even if we overcome or manage our anxiety, we may have setbacks and times that will test us, but it is possible to get through.
