Köln (Cologne), Germany 2026 🇩🇪❤️

A city of small mercies. The buildings are not grand in the way some European cities insist on being grand. Sweeter. Less concerned with spectacle.

The noise is softer here. The pace more breathable.

The people carry that familiar German reserve, a distance that isn’t unkind so much as practiced.

In the middle of this trip, I changed medications and promptly unraveled. As a true Sagittarian, I also almost punched somebody in this trip which is funny now and was decidedly less funny then.

Travel is rarely the polished version we post afterward. It’s trains and churches and cheap sandwiches. It’s beauty alongside inconvenience. It’s discovering that sometimes a city can hold your chaos without asking you to explain it.

Anyway, Köln, danke schön ❤️

My second time in Paris, and somehow it felt even more special than the first. There’s something about this city that keeps pulling me back. I can genuinely see myself returning every year.

This trip wasn’t about ticking off landmarks. I spent more time wandering through places like Montmartre and visiting the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur, slowing down and appreciating the quieter side of Paris.

One of the highlights was meeting my cousin again after several years apart. It reminded me how travel isn’t always about where you go, but who you share moments with.

I also visited the Bourse de Commerce for an art exhibition that felt like it belonged somewhere between a dream and a nightmare. The installations were strange, unsettling, and fascinating all at once—the kind of art that makes you feel slightly uncomfortable in the best possible way. At moments, I genuinely felt as though I’d wandered into a haunted house, surrounded by people in whimsical outfits moving through these surreal spaces. It was a complete fever dream, and somehow, I loved every minute of it.

Paris has a way of making ordinary things feel meaningful. There’s a quiet poetry in its streets, cafés, and little corners that makes you want to pay attention. Maybe that’s why I think it’s important to romanticise your life. Not by pretending everything is perfect, but by noticing the beauty that’s already there.

Along the way, I also stopped by Longchamp, browsed a few pharmacies for some French beauty finds, and simply enjoyed being present in a city that never seems to run out of stories.

Thanks for coming along with me! ❤️🇫🇷

A little glimpse into how my summer is starting 🌞

In this vlog, I spent a cozy day baking, got ready with me before heading out, and then watched Tori Amos and Broken Social Scene live (still not over it). I also finally packed and sent my very first balikbayan box — something I’ve been meaning to do for ages and honestly felt like a milestone hahaha.

A mix of music, little life updates, getting ready, and everyday moments. Thanks for hanging out with me ♡

Hey everyone 🤍

The past month has been challenging, with some personal struggles and a health scare that made me pause and really reflect. I’m not going into delve into it, but having something serious hanging over you changes your perspective.

In a way, it pushed me to slow down and be more present. I realised that even when you’re not okay, you still need to step outside, take time off, and get out of your own head.

So in this vlog, I tried to do just that. I made chicken sisig (something I haven’t had in 2 years 🥹), and spent a day in Notting Hill with my friend Nikki. We enjoyed some sunshine, coffee, and the little things. I also picked up some magnets and keychains for my upcoming trip home—my first in 2 years and 5 months.

More than anything, this video is about allowing yourself to feel joy when it shows up, even in difficult times.

Thanks for being here 🤍
