So apparently this happened yesterday……..

Not going to lie we are late to the party with this one but Universal GB was granted planning permission with construction due to start mid January!

Exciting times for theme park fans just 5 years to wait now.

No more updates of empty fields but of real construction now!

Although we have been very quite due to Christmas and other things, but we have been doing plenty away from the camera, last month we went to the World Travel show where we saw plenty of travel exhibitors and got plenty of ideas, but one of the most intriguing to us was the stand where we saw a replica of the falcons flight train!
Something also very special is we did have a sneak peak of the yet released POV of Falcons Flight as well as a look at the new theme park dragon ball z.

Six Flags Qiddiya is due to open in just over 2 weeks on the 31st December and although we can’t be there it will be on the very long list for us to visit at some point in the future!

Last week was a great evening for their Adult only evening. We hope there’s more of these events in 2026 there great fun! Although the knees don’t think so 🤣

Hopefully a fresh start for Lightwater valley but I do worry the one thing that drew people to the park was scrapped a few years ago (the ultimate)

So just looking for ideas for holidays next year in September and Florida for 10 days plus park tickets is coming out at around £3500 still well above our budget but interested to know if that’s a good price or not?
