Join us for our first ever visit to Blists Hill Victorian Town!

Recently acquired by the National Trust, Blists Hill is an open-air museum and recreates the sights, smells, and sounds of a Victorian Shropshire town in the late 19th and early 20th centuries ☀️

We take you for a full tour of the attraction, featuring the town area with Victorian themed shops, a bank, bakery and post office, the industrial district with a furnace and ironworks, and the countryside area with cottages and a church, and much more! 🏦

Join us for a full tour of Ashlea Pools! This luxury lodge site is based in the rural village of Hopton Heath, South Shropshire 🪵

Featuring a range of spacious lakeside timber-built cabins with hot tubs, an on-site shop and pizzeria, plus a range of fun activities for hire, Ashlea Pools is the perfect little location for all of the family to relax and unwind.

We take you for a detailed tour of the dog friendly Goldcrest VIP Lodge and check out what can be found across the site grounds. We also walk to the neaby Hopton Castle - a medieval stone tower located on beautiful scenic grounds! 🌳

Today, we've visited How Stean Gorge, a nice little gem of a place in Yorkshire! ☀️

We had fun exploring the rocks and caves formed by limestone thousands of years old, before indulging in a delicious afternoon tea in the glass-floored cafe overlooking the ravine 🥪🍰☕️

Despite the spells of rain (it is Blackpool, after all), we had a fab weekend at Pleasure Beach Resort for what was our first visit in two years! 🎢

With it being Late Night Riding on the Saturday, the park was open until 10pm. It was great to get back on all of the classics, as well as finally experiencing Aviktas, with our first ever ride on it being in the dark. It was fun! 🐍

Grand National was as rough as ever (a wheel seat certainly spoils the experience), and Valhalla was obviously an absolute soaker 💦 Big One was sadly closed all weekend, but some awesome rides on Icon sure made up for it.

It was also our first ever time staying in The Big Blue Hotel, which we just couldn't fault at all. We had a great view of the park, and the breakfast was lovely 😋 It certainly made a nice change from a few of the questionable B&B's we've stopped in over the years 🤣

Luckily, the rain stopped on Saturday evening so we could experience the fireworks while waiting to ride Aviktas 🎇

We're not entirely sure when we will next be back at Pleasure Beach - hopefully we can squeeze in a visit to Journey To Hell, as it has been a good few years since we've done that event. It's crazy to think that Halloween is just a few months away 🎃

Overall, a great little weekend at one of our favourite parks to visit in the UK! 🎢

Join us for our first ever visit to Xplor! This huge adventure park is part of the Xcaret Group and is located in the Riviera Maya area.

It is a thrill-seeker's paradise, featuring crazy high zip-lines, amphibious self-driving vehicles, an amazing underground system of caves and rivers, and probably the tallest water slide we've ever been on 😱

We take you around the entire park, showcasing the best attractions on offer, the buffet lunch, and much more! 🚙
