Everton and England No.1 Jordan Pickford has signed a new four-year contract to extend his long service at the Club until the end of June 2029.

"Everton is a really special club to me. Coming from Sunderland as a young lad and growing into a man here, it's been a special time for me and my family.

Roy Keane on trying to sign Leighton Baines for Sunderland: “I met Leighton at a hotel in Sunderland. He was leaving Wigan. We'd made an offer and it had been accepted. The first thing he said to me was, Roy, if Everton come looking for me, I'll be moving to Everton, because I'm an Evertonian.' And I went, 'Okay:' I appreciated it.
