***ATTENTION CATAPILLA FANS AND VERTIGO COLLECTORS***
As many of you will know, legendary Catapiila vocalist Ann Meek (aka Anna Meek) sadly passed away last year.
Ann studied fine art at Wimbledon College of Art in the late 60’s early 70’s whilst she was in the band. She went on to sing Jazz (under the guidance of Cleo Laine) and then classical as a soloist and was a poet all her life. She kept all her drawings, paintings and sketches from that period. A number of these individual items are now for sale, including a mix of small sketches, larger canvases and various paintings. So now is your chance to own a unique piece of history, whether it’s inserting a small sketch of Ann’s into your prized Catapilla LPs or hanging something on your wall.
Ann’s cousin and close friend Rosemary, wanted us to help find people/fans who might be interested in her artwork. Here is a sample of the kind of work she made that range in size and style. Rosemary is keeping some but has many works available.
