One year transformation🤍💪🏼
A year ago, I never imagined I’d be standing here feeling stronger, healthier, and happier than I have in a very long time.
Sometimes life breaks the version of you that no longer fits the future you’re meant to have. My whole life has always consisted of horses, competing and trying to be better in that world, but what I failed to realise is that my obsession with British Dressage was holding me back from exploring other elements to life - some horsey people can do both, I couldn’t do both.
Losing my space in the British Dressage world due to Vossi’s injuries hit me harder than I ever expected. I lost not only the sport I loved, but a huge part of my identity. The months that followed were filled with weight gain, low confidence, and feeling like I’d lost myself. But instead of letting that chapter define me, I made a decision to rebuild.
The comeback wasn’t winning again. The comeback was becoming someone I was proud of again and exploring more of life outside of the equestrian bubble.
One year can change everything - one year for me has changed everything🤍
*My transformation was achieved by;
•Hitting the gym 4x a week (weight lifting and 30mins cardio every session)
•Increasing daily steps
•Calorie intake tracking and macro tracking
•Increased protein intake
I still have a mega sweet tooth and eat biscuits, sweets, cakes and crisps but calorie/ macro tracking has been the key🙌🏻
