A real photo of your team at work tells people more about the experience of dealing with your firm than another picture of a handshake.

Ask permission, keep the scene honest and give the image a useful caption: who is here, what do they do, and what question do they help answer?

A list of names and job titles leaves a lot unsaid. A useful adviser biography explains specialisms, qualifications where relevant, experience and the clients that person helps. It should also feel like the person a client will meet.

We review bios in the AI Visibility Audit because credibility needs a human face and information a prospective client can check.

What is the one question your current bio fails to answer?

Regulated content has to be accurate, balanced and reviewed through the right process. It can still sound like a human being. Instead of opening with a product pitch, start with a real misunderstanding you help clients untangle.

The best topic is often hiding in a conversation your team has already had today.

What topic does your team explain more clearly in person than online?

Can a search engine find the answer on your website?

If your business protection expertise lives only in a menu label, someone asking a specific question may never reach it. A clear service page should say who you help, what questions you address, where relevant, and who provides the advice.

Useful structure helps people first; it also helps search systems interpret your pages.

Look at one service page today: does its opening answer a real client question?

A prospective client might ask an AI tool for a financial adviser in their area. Would your website make your location, services and people clear?

That is the starting point of an AI visibility audit: what can a visitor or search system actually find and verify about your firm? We look at the evidence, then set priorities your team can act on.

Social media gets attention. Email helps you keep it.

For financial advisers, email marketing remains one of the most effective ways to stay visible, nurture opportunities and keep clients engaged between meetings.
The key is to make every email useful, relevant and human, rather than another sales message in an already crowded inbox.

Our latest guide explains how email marketing can help advisers:
• Build trust over time
• Stay front of mind with clients and prospects
• Share useful and timely content
• Nurture opportunities without the hard sell
• Strengthen long-term client relationships
It also explores how email can work alongside your website, social media and wider digital marketing, rather than operating in isolation.

Today is Youth Mental Health Day, created by UK charity stem4 to encourage conversations about young people’s mental health and the support available to them.

Growing up has never been straightforward.
Young people can face pressures related to education, relationships, their future, social media, appearance, and expectations from those around them.
Money can become part of that picture too.

Learning about budgeting, understanding how money works and being able to talk openly about financial worries can all form part of preparing young people for adult life.
But financial education isn’t about expecting teenagers to have everything figured out.
Sometimes it is simply about creating an environment where questions are welcome, mistakes can become lessons and asking for help is completely normal.

Today is a valuable reminder to keep those conversations open.

Most of us make financial decisions based on an assumption that tomorrow will look reasonably similar to today.

We’ll continue working.
Our income will continue arriving.
And the bills will continue being paid.
Of course, life doesn’t always cooperate.

Illness, injury, caring responsibilities, relationship changes and unexpected changes at work can all affect household finances.
That is one of the themes being explored during Income Protection Action Week 2026, which looks at financial resilience across the full arc of someone’s working life, from their first job through career and family changes to later working life.

Whatever someone’s circumstances, understanding their regular expenditure, existing workplace benefits, savings and how long those resources might last if their income changed can help provide a clearer picture of their financial resilience.

Sometimes the most useful financial questions begin with “what if?”
