In Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, 54 bodies of martyrs were buried in a mass grave today.
The Civil Defense and Ministry of Health workers carried out the burial at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

The bodies had been held by the Israeli occupation army during the war on Gaza and were released as part of the recent exchange deal, then handed over to the Red Cross.

Many of the martyrs were unidentified, and most were likely murdered inside Israeli detention centres before being returned.

A mass grave for those who were taken, tortured, and silenced —
victims of a genocide the world continues to witness.

Today at Gaza Memorial Day, marking two years since the Israeli colonial regime declared war on Gaza, hundreds of people gathered and marched outside 10 Downing Street.

Attendees stood together in a one-minute silence to honour the victims of the ongoing genocide — families, children, and entire communities lost — and to reaffirm our commitment to justice and freedom for Palestine.

Attendees also demanded that the UK government end its complicity, stop all arms sales to Israel, and take real action to hold it accountable for its crimes.

This Is What Anti-Palestinian Racism Looks Like

Wadea Al-Fayoume was only 6 years old.
He was murdered in Illinois by his landlord — stabbed dozens of times. His mother, Hanaan Shahin, was also attacked and severely injured.

Their only “crime”?
Being Palestinian and Muslim.

This was not an isolated act — it was fueled by a climate of rising anti-Palestinian racism and fear.

Governments did nothing.
They failed to protect Palestinians.
They stayed silent — and silence is complicity.

The killer has now been sentenced to 53 years in prison. But real justice means ending the hate before it claims more lives.

After 470 days of continuous genocide by Israel, the people of northern Gaza returned to the Jabalia area.
The occupation had destroyed nearly all homes, schools, hospitals, shops, and roads. Hundreds of bodies lay in the streets, where animals were feeding on them, as Israeli forces targeted civil defense teams and paramedics attempting to reach Jabalia.
