BORN THIS WAY MEDIA ATTENDS FIRST AIMI IN BRIGHTON

The future is now! Born This Way Media had a productive day at the AIMI (Artificial Intelligence Media & Image Conference) in Brighton. Duncan Thomsen and his team dropped our jaws with a peek into what we can do right now, and the possibilities in the very near future using Generative AI to produce amazing, un-restricted ideas in film and moving images – but importantly how to create legally and responsibly. This is the future of where content is going and the biggest tool in our creative box since the invention of the computer…or the wheel come to mention it!

Episode one, Titanic, from our co-pro series, Secrets of The Lost Liners, had a double-page spread on 5th May in the Sunday Express . Our ethos of ..."finding untold and unique stories that would otherwise have gone unheard..." paid off after journalist, James Rampton set up an interview with producer/director, Max Barber. The lesser-known but true story of how Titanic's discovery was part of a Cold-War CIA operation only adds to the enigma and fascination of this legendary lost liner.

Our associate development producer, Paddy Smyth, had his regular spot on Virgin Media´s The Six O’clock Show this week reviewing all the latest streaming hits we should – or should not – be watching. The film noir remake of The Talented Mr Ripley (Netflix) got the thumbs up from Paddy who unpicked the clear differences and similarities between this slick remake and the original movie version made in 1999 with Matt Damon & Jude Law. We think Paddy deserves his own review show beyond his smart, witty and well-rounded spots on this much-loved & watched evening studio TV show.

The Six O Clock Show (previously TV3) goes out weekdays from 18.00 on Virgin Media One
Produced in Dublin and is currently hosted by Brian Dowling & Katja Mia.
