High Ticket Sales: 📈
Firstly let’s talk about what high ticket sales are. These are products or services, typically ranging from a few hundred to thousands of pounds, that you sell on behalf of a company or an individual.
Examples include things such as luxury items, premium online courses, consulting services and much more. One major benefit of high ticket sales is the higher commissions you can earn.
For instance, the company I work with offers up to 54% in commissions. Where else would you find that. This means that selling a product worth £5,000 would earn you £2,700 in just commissions. To then make a £10,000 month you’d only need 4 sales.
Low Ticket Sales: 📉
On the other hand low ticket sales are more affordable products or services, typically ranging from £50 to the low hundreds. Examples include e-books, digital downloads, everyday customer items, inexpensive subscriptions and more. However, the main difference lies in the commission you earn. Low ticket sales require a higher sales volume to generate significant revenue due to the lower profit margins.
For instance, selling a low ticket item priced at £100 with a 54% commission would earn you just £54 per sale. Which means to achieve a £10,000 month, you would need to make approximately 185 sales. That is a considerable amount of effort. In comparison with high ticket sales, selling a £5,000 item at the same 54% commission would earn you £2,700 per sale. To reach a £10,000 month, you would only need 4 sales. The difference in work load and results is clear.
